For the development of a hip protector of the „New Generation“ we looked for a material that could remove disadvantages, remedy the grievances and dispose of the shortcomings of hip protectors currently available with best possible absorption results and give complete satisfaction regarding comfort and wearing ease.

After a long search and after numerous biomechanical tests Memory® seemed to be the most appropriate material. Memory® absorbs impact and vibration forces and is used in different areas in a high number of applications. Using Memory® as the base material of the AHIP Protector improvements were included in order to increase compliance.
