Medical AHIP Considerations

All currently available hip-protectors have shortcomings in respect of convenience and wearing comfort. The compliance to wear such protectors is therefore very low. Developing a hip protector of the „New Generation“ aimed at corresponding to medical considerations using improved material characteristics and using an inspiring, attractive design with the aim to increase compliance.

At the top of the list of the medical considerations was the absorption of force by the hip protector (absorption before distribution). The handling should be easy, the positioning of the pads should be possible without any lengthy instructions.  We expected the material and design to be permeable to air with the highest flexibility possible.

These demands resulted in the AHIP Protector. Only the AHIP Protector meets all these demands.
